FC Kader v Acklam FC 

Sunday 15th November 2009

We had to turn round our poor performances of the last 5 or 6 games in the league and try to push the top of the league team, we did and we pushed them all the way unfortunately we slip and conceded 2 goals in the first half. The first was a total fluke Kader took a shot Lucas ran to block it and he got hit in the face only for the ball to loop right over Kieron, Total fluke. The second was a well take goal by Kader passing the ball well to create the chance.

Half Time: FC Kader 2 – 0 Acklam FC

Second half we carried on the same push at Kader and creating some good chances, the defensive pair copped with any attack Kader had and kept them out. We managed a to score late on with a clearance for Kieron and Louis beat the defender for pace and caught it on the half volley for the goal. We carried on the same but just couldn’t  get the second.

Managers: This a better and commited performance by everyone. You all looked like you wanted to play and get stuck-in. Keep it up
