21st AllStars v Acklam FC

Acklam started 2010 with an away trip to Darlington to take on 21^st Allstars who currently top the 3^rd division.

What a great game of football this turned out to be, with both teams meeting head on and not backing out of any tackles

21^st Allstars went 2-0 up but Acklam came back with a goal from Sandy Davison

Acklam then had a good appeal for a penalty turned down.

21^st were awarded a penalty of their own (no moans as Potty hacked down the forward inside the box) and converted to make it 3-1

Danny Helm burst through and pulled one back just before the end but Acklam could not find the equaliser in the short time left.

Final Score: 21^st Allstars 3-2 Acklam FC

We deserved a point out of this game and gave 21^st a run for their money in the 2^nd half. A much improved performance.
